I’m over here in Myrtle Beach South Carolina for the Fall Brawl race. The track is super nice, and I can’t wait for the race to start tomorrow. Today was practice, and as is usual in America, it was a complete joke. Stand in line for 15-20min and drive for 5. Maybe get another run in, and then wait for 5 hours until you can stand in line again. I really wonder when race organisers here will understand how much better controlled practice in heats is. Everyone gets the same track time, and there is no need to waste your life standing in line. Here’s hoping it will happen!
A really great turn out here, and I’m hoping the weather stays sunny. I’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow.
How does controlled practice work when there are say 100 entries?
Regardless of entry amount, practice should be run in heats, just like qualifying.
