Well, good start to the series. I TQed, for the first time over this crowd in the US which was nice. I have been close before but never managed to pull it off. This time it worked out. Car felt really good in qualifying, and it was all up to me. Then in the main I did well for 95% of the time. I blew out for 2 laps about halfway, and lost everything there. Other than that it was good, and definitely the best I have ever driven at night, which I really suck at! Drove back up to third after those two laps, and that’s where I finished. Adam Drake won, and Shawn Kirkman was 2nd. I will write a bit more of a report tomorrow, figured some things out with setup, and with driving.
Baby steps, I was fast in qualifying, and for 7min in the main 😀 That’s something. Just need to keep at it, everything is heading in the right direction, that is clear at this point. I can still clearly see where I need to improve, and I know that it is possible to do.
