After the PNB race I had to sit down and work until early afternoon when I was kicked out of the hotel. Took care of emails, payments and some webshop stuff. Then I drove down to Charlotte NC to Charlie Linebergers place, where I had shipped a whole bunch of car kits! The plan, sell them all!

The track is really nice, and gets loose like Revelation in CA at night. We ran super soft small pin tyres, like grid irons from AKA. SS impacts also work. Find the track’s info on their facebook S & B R/C Speedway LLC. Thank you Nick and Jamie for the hospitality!
Tuesday I drove down to Greenville South Carolina to the S&B Speedway RC Track for some practice, and #rcgypsied my way into Kenneth Tackett’s house for a few nights. I managed to get lost somewhere in the SC countryside, as my gps decided to take me on a tour. I learned that SC has more churches than any other place on earth. Every other building was a church. How can there be enough people for all of them? Imagine if they were RC tracks instead!
Today I started off by visiting the local hobby shop, called Hobby Connection, in Easley. Ended up picking up HC as a dealer so the day was off to a great start! I then headed over to the S&B track for some serious cleaning and wrenching. Cleaned the tents and banners, organised and cleaned the van, and rebuilt my cars in preperation for the evenings clubrace. I had a rental ride once again, the rent being, absolutely nothing, and Anthony Adams was the test driver this time. He showed up the day before when I was at the track, and mentioned that he wasn’t racing as he didn’t have a car, so we quickly fixed that situation. Anthony ended up TQing sportsman and finishing 2nd after getting rear ended and bending a shock shaft early in the main, so not bad, not bad at all!

I think having two customers already show interest while I was showing the cars convinced Hobby Connection to begin stocking them!
Been some busy days, and there are more to come, this is my schedule as of right now:
Thursday: Easley practice with Ogden and Pettit
Friday: Anderson RC and KingRC Hobby Shop visits and KingRC practice
Saturday: SpeedRC Racing
Sunday: Lake Hartwell RC Complex visit at noon, and then driving to Atlanta early evening.
I have a couple cousins coming with me up to speed on Saturday. Do you have two “loaner” ebuggies they could try (they run 4×4 sct, but I’m trying to get them into 1/8). Heck, 3 if you have. 🙂
